Return Policy

Ichigo HDD makes sheer effort to provide each and every one with a journey as smooth as possible right from purchasing to delivering of equipment. Despite all the efforts and diligent procedures, things may go wrong at some point and you may want to return the delivered products. For that, you can raise an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) while respecting the terms and conditions mentioned below:

This document also provides details and explanation of the applicable policies in case of returns. Plus, not that there’s difference between Business Customers and Consumer. Both are explained below:


A “Business Customer” refers to a customer who is not a consumer
A “Consumer” refers to a person who is not representing/engaging for his/her business.

Cancelation Policy

If a consumer or a business account holder wants to cancel the order then there will be no charges for the cancelation. You will need to send an email along with the order reference number or PO number before the product is dispatched. Otherwise, a 50% re-stocking fee will be charged.

If the item has already been dispatched, then the best advice is don’t open the shipment when it arrives. Customers may then arrange for the shipment to be returned to us. Please ensure that your item is adequately re-packaged, preferably using the original outer packaging, otherwise, a re-stocking fee of 50% may be applied.

If the product has already been dispatched, then it is advised not to open the shipped item upon its arrival. To successfully return the package, the item should remain unused and sent to us in a completely resaleable condition which also includes all the accessories, packaging material, etc.

You will also pay charges for the return delivery and look after insurance in case of any damages or loss caused to the product while in transit otherwise, you will have to bear the liability of lost goods.

If the delivered product does not match your order, is faulty, or has a missing part, then you must submit a complaint within 72 hours following the date of delivery. Please attach clear pictures of the product as evidence of the type of error being faced.

Please note that all the orders that are shipped directly from the manufacturers cannot be returned or canceled.

Non-Faulty Returns Conditions

If in any case and with absolute discretion, we agree to accept the return of unwanted products, the items must be returned with our prior written agreement. Remember that the product must not be opened, the manufacturer’s seal is still intact, and the item is in a fully resaleable condition. Also note that all non-faulty returns require a 50% restocking fee (which depends upon the situation), unless Ichigo HDD has incorrectly supplied the items should be returned in 100% original condition or a 50% restocking fee will be charged against you.

Original condition:

Original Condition of a product means that all the accessories, software, manuals, and warranties must be received in their original packaging and undamaged condition. If you are sending a return then you must repackage the product(s) safely in the same way as they were sent to you.

Faulty Items under Warranty

If you have received a faulty item under warranty, then please raise an RMA request while agreeing to the terms and conditions mentioned below. You will have to provide the order number, the purchase date, the serial number of the faulty items. After we have inspected and verified that the faulty item is still under warranty, one of our experts will try to fix the issue on phone or via remote access.

If the problem persists, you will be provided with an RMA number and required to follow the standard RMA procedure. Once you return the item, we will conduct in-depth tests and try our best to fix the issue. If the item cannot be fixed or repaired, then we will send a replacement. The replacement item sent to you can be new or equivalent to new and can be identical or with equivalent specifications.

Goods Damaged in Transit:

If the item is visibly damaged on receipt, then it is of utmost importance to sign for the item as damaged with the courier and then communicate it to us immediately at our provided number or send an email. If the product was damaged in transit, we request you to report the case within 2 working days of delivery.

The replacement of the hardware will not be considered if

The item proves not to be faulty in contrast to the information and details provided with the RMA form or the item has tampered with anything or wrong software has been used with it.

Ichigo HDD reserves complete rights to charge a 50% restocking fee if:

  1. The original packaging has been damaged
  2. The original package doesn’t have complete accessories or components
